H.E. Tadaharu Uehara Becomes the President of the Japan-Georgia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JGCCI)

Recently, The Japan Georgia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JGCCI) has been established. The JGCCI aims to facilitate and enhance collaborative business endeavors between the two nations, further deepening their diplomatic and economic relations. With the backing of industry leaders, the JGCCI is set to emerge as a vital conduit for knowledge sharing, investment, and market access.


A number of Japanese companies planning to launch a business in Georgia have already joined the JGCCI. 


H.E. Tadaharu Uehara, former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Georgia, and the Member of Advisory Board of Geocase, has been appointed as the President of JGCCI. Mr. Uehara brings with him a wealth of experience, having served as the former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Georgia. His exceptional insights into both nations' socio-economic landscapes make him an ideal choice to spearhead the chamber's efforts.
