Dr. Khatuna Burkadze, Director of Foreign Policy Studies at the Georgian think tank “Geocase” has been elected as a member of the Governing Board of the U.S. Government Exchange Program Alumni Association of Georgia.
The U.S. Government Exchange Program Alumni Association of Georgia aims to build a network of Western-educated professionals. The mission of EPAG is to engage in activities that contribute to sustaining an active civil society in the country by sharing experience, consultancy, research, development, advocacy, and promoting community-based initiatives. In addition, EPAG provides a forum for intellectual collaboration and social interaction.
Dr. Khatuna Burkadze’s Western experience includes several programs. She is a graduate of The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University. Dr. Khatuna Burkadze has been a Fulbright scholar at the MIT Center for International Studies as well as a visiting professor at Columbia University, Bard College, and The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
Prof. Dr. Khatuna Burkadze has completed programs on negotiations and security studies at Harvard University and George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies. She is an alumna of the U.S. Department of State's Program on American Foreign Policy. From 2017 to 2018, she was a member of the Harvard International Law Society. Dr. Khatuna Burkadze was also a member of the organizing committee of the 2018 European Conference at Harvard.
