Georgia-based think tank Geocase and DAKSHIN - the Global South Centre of Excellence established at the Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), an Indian research-based think tank, have entered into a partnership by signing a Letter of Association (LoA).
This cooperation aims to bolster joint policy research and studies aimed at identifying replicable, scalable and locally relevant development solutions and facilitating their implementation. Through capacity building initiatives such as training, sharing of expertise, and organizing conferences and workshops, both organizations aspire to advocate for skill enhancement and knowledge dissemination.
The Letter of Association was signed by Mr. Victor Kipiani, Chairman of Geocase, and Prof. Sachin Chaturvedi, Director General of RIS.
Speaking about the partnership, Mr. Victor Kipiani remarked, "We are delighted to enter this collaborative journey with DAKSHIN. By combining our expertise and resources, we are confident that, we can make significant strides towards sustainable development and empower communities across the Global South."
