Geocase is delighted to announce an exciting new addition to our team. Mr. Glenn S. Kolleeny, a Senior Counsel of Dentons Europe, has joined the advisory board of Geocase, bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise that will further strengthen our organization.
Glenn S. Kolleeny has more than 30 years of experience as a corporate lawyer. Prior to becoming Senior Counsel Dentons Europe, Glenn was a partner at Dentons from its foundation in 2013 until 2021. Before joining Dentons, Glenn was a partner at Salans from 1998 to 2013 and a member of Salans’ Global Board from 2010-2012.
Glenn graduated with honors from Columbia Law in 1982 and worked at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, Chase Manhattan Bank, Dresdner Bank, ABN AMRO Bank, and AIOC Corporation before joining Salans as a partner on July 1, 1998.
Specializing in international trade and commodities finance (metals, oil products, and agricultural products), corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity, Glenn has been recognized as a leading corporate and M&A specialist. He has completed more than $10 billion in M&A transactions and was described by Legal 500 as a lawyer who "makes deals happen," according to his clients.
Since 2016, Glenn has served as a non-executive director of private and publicly traded companies in several jurisdictions and is currently a member of the board of directors of Mirland Corporation, a Cyprus company traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. Since 2018, Glenn has also advised clients on wealth management and protection, including establishing trusts and private foundations in a variety of jurisdictions.
Glenn’s clients include financial institutions, private equity funds, and multinational corporations. He is fluent in French and Russian, in addition to his native English, and has a working knowledge of German, Dutch, Spanish and Ukrainian.
Furthermore, Glenn will serve as a visiting professor at the Kyiv School of Economics, where he will be teaching a course on the Basics of US Law during the 2024-25 academic year.
