Dr. Khatuna Burkadze, the Director of Foreign Policy Studies at a Georgian think tank - Geocase, has been re-elected as a member of the Executive Board of the U.S. Government Exchange Program Alumni Association of Georgia.
The U.S. Government Exchange Program Alumni Association of Georgia aims to build a network of Western-educated professionals. The mission of EPAG is to engage in activities that contribute to the sustainability of an active civil society in the country by sharing experiences, providing consultancy, conducting research, fostering development, advocating for significant issues, and promoting community-based initiatives. Furthermore, EPAG provides a platform for intellectual collaboration and social interaction.
Dr. Khatuna Burkadze possesses extensive experience in Western programs. She graduated from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. Additionally, Dr. Khatuna Burkadze was a Fulbright scholar at the MIT Center for International Studies and served as a visiting professor at Columbia University, Bard College, and The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
Prof. Dr. Khatuna Burkadze has completed programs in negotiation and security studies at Harvard University and the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies. She is an alumna of the U.S. Department of State's Program on American Foreign Policy. From 2017 to 2018, she was a member of the Harvard Law and International Development Society. Additionally, Dr. Khatuna Burkadze was part of the organizing team for the European Conference 2018 at Harvard.
