Geocase welcomes Mr. Tadaharu UEHARA, former Ambassador of Japan to Georgia to the Advisory Board.
Mr Uehara served as an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Georgia from 2017 to 2020 and is a distinguished former career diplomat with extensive experience of geo-strategic and geo-economic issues.
In addition to his successful diplomatic career, Mr Uehara’s professional portfolio includes number of high-profile positions within the insurance industry, namely Tokio Marine Holdings, the largest private insurance group in Japan, and Nippon Export and Investment Insurance, the official export credit agency of Japan. He has a deep knowledge about a global risk management. He is currently serving as an Audit and Supervisory Bord Member of Tokyo Ohka Kogyo, a top manufacturer of photo-resist materials for variety of semiconductors.
He has graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Hitotsubashi University, Tokyo, Japan.
As the member of the advisory Board of Geocase Ambassador Uehara will focus on further developing Japan-Georgia ties by facilitating to strengthen links between the countries’ business and cultural communities. He will also support to organize various events on the actual topics concerning the countries.
