Dr. Khatuna Burkadze spoke about various types of hybrid challenges, characteristics of cyberattacks, techniques of Russian disinformation and anti-Western propaganda campaigns, and international experience in overcoming hybrid threats.

Dr. Khatuna Burkadze underlined: “Hybrid challenges including Russian disinformation campaigns and cyberattacks intend to undermine Georgia’s national security, the credibility of its institutions and impede Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic and European integration processes. We need to consolidate our efforts to avoid the negative impacts of such destructive actions. It is essential to develop and adopt Georgia’s national strategy on hybrid challenges to enhance institutional capacities to deter hybrid threats or to defend itself against any hybrid threat”.
