Giorgi Arziani Joins Geocase as a research fellow on Education Policy.


The main field of his professional interest is general education policy, in particular, the development of effective mechanisms to ensure equal access to quality education, the development of a sustainable policy to eliminate learning losses, the use of modern technological achievements in education administration, and the learning process. In addition, he pursues educational programs to comply with the market demands, socio-economic characteristics, and needs of the regions. 


His professional track record includes working in the Education and Science Committee of the Parliament of Georgia where he is responsible for the legislative process, preparation of analytical documents and supervising the committee's activities, as well as the process of conducting research and analysis. The main aspects of his practice include working on policy documents, assessing the impact of prosed changes, raising the awareness about the projects to be implemented, ensuring cooperation between decision-makers and representatives of non-governmental, sectoral and international organizations.
 

In the Parliament of Georgia, Giorgi Arziani has participated in the implementation process of supervisory mechanisms such as thematic inquiries, regulatory impact assessment as well as control over the enforcement of the normative acts adopted by the Parliament. He actively participates in interdepartmental groups, working on development of various policy documents.
