Biography

Guram Baakashvili conducts research activities on the circular economy at Geocase. His research interests include circular economy, sustainable development, technologies and finance.

Guram has been working in the private sector for more than 10 years and has experience working in leading positions for international and local companies.

Currently, he heads the British logistics company, which has been operating in the global market since 2009.

Guram is a Master of Business Administration at the "BTU – Business and Technology University" and a PhD candidate at the same university. His research topic is "Financial analysis of circular business models, from a sectoral perspective".

Guram Baakashvili has completed management courses at the Madrid Business School, also he is a winner of a scientific conference and a beneficiary of the project "Enterprise Georgia". He has participated in various international conferences. Guram has co-authored several scientific articles together with Georgian and foreign professors. Also, from September 2023, he will deliver the lecture course entitled "Sustainability and Technologies" within the framework of the Sustainability Lab at the "BTU – Business and Technology University".
