Geocase is pleased to announce the newest addition to its team, Ambassador Ioseb Nanobashvili, who has joined the think tank as a member of the Advisory Board.
Ambassador Ioseb Nanobashvili brings a wealth of diplomatic experience to his new role at Geocase. Since 2020, he served as the head of the regional representation of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) in Tbilisi, where he made significant contributions to international relations and public law.
Ioseb Nanobashvili's impressive career extends over 23 years within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, where he held a variety of pivotal positions. Most notably, he served as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Georgia to the Republics of Greece and Serbia from 2015 to 2020, strengthening bilateral relations and representing Georgia's interests on the international stage.
Throughout his extensive career in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Ioseb Nanobashvili held key roles, including Deputy Director of the European Integration Department, Head of the European Council Division, and Director of the International Economic Relations Department, showcasing his dedication and expertise in international diplomacy and foreign affairs.
Ioseb Nanobashvili is a distinguished scholar with academic degrees in Political Sciences, holding the titles of Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Diplomacy. His diplomatic achievements have been recognized with the prestigious rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
