Henrik S. Werenskiold, the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Geopolitika.no, Joins Geocase

Geocase is pleased to announce that Henrik S. Werenskiold, the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Geopolitika.no, has joined the organization as an advisor.
 

Henrik S. Werenskiold is a distinguished figure in the field of international affairs and geopolitical journalism. As the founder of Geopolitika.no, a Norwegian-language journal with a strong focus on global geopolitics, Werenskiold has established a reputation for insightful analysis and thought leadership. Since its inception on March 1, 2024, Geopolitika.no has rapidly grown in influence, with its articles reaching audiences not only in Norway but also in France and Eastern Europe.
 

Based in Oslo, Mr. Werenskiold brings extensive international experience to Geocase. His career in foreign affairs and geopolitical journalism spans several decades, during which he has served in various capacities including foreign affairs journalist, commentator, and editor.
 

Mr. Werenskiold’s expertise covers a broad spectrum of geopolitical topics, with a particular emphasis on great power competition, Europe's role in global geopolitics, and political realism. He has a deep interest in security challenges, including the threats posed by terrorism, migration, and the increasing use of force in international relations.
 

In addition to his journalistic achievements, Werenskiold has a rich background in the think tank industry and has made valuable contributions to academic discourse in his field. His educational background includes two bachelor’s degrees in International Business Administration and International Affairs from the American University of Paris, as well as a master’s degree in Political Economy from BI Norwegian Business School. Werenskiold is multilingual, fluent in Norwegian, English, French, and Spanish, with additional proficiency in Portuguese and Classical Arabic.
