Research Fellow and International Secretary of the think tank Geocase - Nikoloz Khatiashvili has been elected to a fifth term as a member of the Executive Board of the US Government Exchange Program Alumni Association of Georgia (EPAG) Georgia.
As a Research Fellow and International Secretary of the think tank GEOCASE, Nikoloz Khatiashvili expressed his honour in continuing his work on the Executive Board of EPAG. He stated, “Given the current challenges, the year 2025 will be particularly significant for our efforts. We have several new initiatives and projects planned to help us achieve our organisation's objectives. By 2025, we aim to strengthen EPAG further, enhance our intellectual resources, fortify our international connections, and promote strengthening US-Georgian relations, particularly under the new US administration.”
The US Government Exchange Program Alumni Association of Georgia (EPAG) brings together graduates from 25 exchange programs funded by the US government, with approximately 1,400 registered members. The core of the association lies in its members and their intellectual resources.
The primary goal of the association is to establish a network of professionals and like-minded individuals with a Western education. EPAG serves as a platform for generating ideas, connecting specialists from various fields, fostering a professional network, and implementing social activities.
EPAG's mission is to promote an active civil society in the country by organizing various events, sharing expertise, and advocating for the community.
