Biography

Sandro Samadbegishvili is a Partner of one of the most prominent law firms in Georgia – MKD Law. His legal practice is concentrated on Litigation, Arbitration and Dispute Resolution, Employment and Immigration, Corporate and M&A.

Throughout his practice, Sandro has served as a legal counsel for foreign diplomatic and governmental organizations, including the Israeli and Japanese embassies and the US Department of Justice.

He has been an intern at the Council of Europe's Venice Commission advising on matters related to Georgian Constitutional and Electoral Law.

Sandro is a contributor to a number of Georgian and international publishers including Georgia Today, Sweet & Maxwell, Cakmak Publishing, and International Bar Association Legal Practice Division on the topics of Public Private Partnership, immigration, Georgian arbitration etc.

Besides his legal practice, Sandro’s interests include Caucasus studies and urbanism.

Sandro Samadbegishvili has graduated from the Caucasus School of Law. He holds LL.M in International Law from the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA).

He speaks Georgian, English and Russian languages.
