On 22 January 2020, Mr Victor Kipiani, the Chairman of Geocase, and Mr Andrzej Klimczyk, a member of the advisory board, held an introductory meeting with Mr Cristian Urse, the Head of the Council of Europe Office in Georgia.
Mr Kipiani told Mr Urse about Geocase’s mission and objectives and its work to date. Mr Urse emphasized the importance of co-operating with civil society organizations as part of efforts to help Georgia overcome the challenges that it currently faces. Mr Klimczyk mentioned the possibility of organizing a number of events in co-operation with the Council of Europe Office, a suggestion which was readily accepted by the meeting’s participants.
At Mr Kipiani’s invitation, Mr Urse will visit the Geocase offices in the near future in order to further discuss ways in which the two organizations could work together.
